Accessible accommodation in the bush

Our River Suite is located close to the Shearer’s Quarters Guest Lounge. This suite provides accessible accommodation for up to two guests king share in addition to a wheelchair ramp and accessible ensuite.

This suite can be booked on our self contained ‘Escape’ packages or added to our All Inclusive ‘Stay and Play’ Sky Suite packages if accessible or additional rooms are required.

The River Suites provides guests with a luxurious king pillow top bed with cotton blend linen, feather doona together with a selection of pillows to choose from. (Undoubtedly the comfiest bed this side of the blue mountains!) Large, double-glazed windows surround the bed zone with block out/sheer blinds and private views across the property. The ensuite includes an accessible walk-in shower, grab rails, accessible toilet, vanity with mirror along with a hair dryer and hand-crafted amenities.

To ensure guests comfort across the seasons each room features:

individually controlled reverse cycle air conditioning/heating
electric blankets for the cooler months
iron and board, bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
Bluetooth speaker, premium waffle robes and pool towels.

Perfect as a couples outback escape or luxury accommodation on the way to Broken Hill. After all, the journey should be part of the experience.

For overnight stays, children under 8 years must share with an adult. Our rooms have a maximum occupancy of two guests.

Please note that due to our proximity to the river all units are elevated to avoid flooding. The accessible ramp is approximately 45m in length.
