At Callubri Station, we understand that the most meaningful travel happens when you lean into your passions. Spanning 28,500 acres our station is the perfect living canvas for special interest groups to explore, create, and connect.
Whether you are a club of avid birdwatchers, a corporate team seeking a visionary retreat, or a wellness community looking for a grounded sanctuary, we offer the exclusive use of our facilities to ensure your itinerary is as unique as your group. Or perhaps your group is staying with us for a few days extra and would like to add on some special interest activities?
The true luxury of Callubri Station lies in its exclusivity. When you book for a special interest group, the station becomes yours. Our family is simply here to facilitate your vision with warm, authentic country hospitality.
Offering unique experiences from Photography, En Pleine Air Art, Team Mural Painting, Yoga, Reiki, Massage and Well Being, Leather Workshops, Cooking Classes, First Nations Culture, Twitching and Birding, Art and Language. Let us transform your stay into something extraordinary curated just for you!

In the outback, we believe the best experiences are built on community. That’s why we collaborate with local providers, to ensure every moment at our station reflects the heart of our region. By supporting local, we’re not just creating exceptional experiences—we’re strengthening the community that makes them possible. Let us curate your stay, like only a local can.
Can we book a private cooking class or culinary tour with Chef Angie?
Absolutely. Food is at the heart of the Callubri experience, and Angie loves sharing the secrets of her paddock-to-plate philosophy. While all our hosted packages include seasonal fine dining, with little notice we are happy to curate a private “Homestead Kitchen” session for your group. This often starts with a wander through our kitchen gardens to harvest seasonal produce and native herbs, followed by a relaxed, hands-on workshop in the Shearers Quarters where you’ll learn to prepare rustic Australian dishes that celebrate our produce including stone-milled wheat flour and grass-fed Merino lamb!
Are there opportunities for photography workshops or guided shoots on the station?
The outback light is a photographer’s dream, and we host a number of dedicated photography retreats led by industry masters throughout the year. For our regular guests, we offer “Escorted Shoots” as part of our station tours. Mike knows every hidden corner of our 28,500 acres—from the rustic patina of the “car graveyard” and historic log cabins to the perfect vantage points for landscape shots. Whether you are a professional or a smartphone enthusiast, we’ll make sure you’re in the right place at the “golden hour” to capture that perfect shot.
What kind of wellness and yoga facilities do you offer for retreats?
We offer a sanctuary for the soul where “moonbathing” is just as important as sunbathing. Our 12-metre mineral pool, crafted from a repurposed shipping container, is the perfect spot for a refreshing dip with endless horizon views. For yoga and wellness retreats, our historic Woolshed provides an incredible, atmospheric space for practice. There is something deeply grounding about rolling out a mat on hand-chiselled timbers that have seen over 145 years of history. We also collaborate with local practitioners to offer reiki, massage, and guided meditation as part of bespoke group bookings.
Can you facilitate Indigenous cultural experiences and heritage tours?
We are deeply respectful of the First Nations heritage of this land and have a wonderful collaborative partnership with Maddy Hodgetts from Ngungilanha who is a Ngiyampaa/Wangaaypuwan + Wiradjuri woman. For group bookings and special retreats, we can arrange a welcome to country, smoking ceremony, Indigenous basket weaving workshops, and storytelling sessions led by locals on country. These experiences offer a grounded and deeper understanding of the ancient stories of this landscape and it’s people. It’s a powerful way to appreciate the “living story” of the outback.
How do you cater to corporate retreats and “Business in the Bush”?
We specialise in “Meetings with Momentum.” Callubri Station offers a sophisticated alternative to the traditional boardroom, with the Shearers Quarters providing a fully licensed, air-conditioned event space for up to 80 guests. We provide high-speed Wi-Fi and modern AV facilities, but the true value lies in the “offline” moments, strengthening team bonds over a campfire, strategy sessions in the fresh outback air, and exclusive use of the property to ensure total privacy for your board or executive team. We’ll tailor the itinerary to balance your “deep work” with restorative station experiences.
