A Night with Nilmini De Silva

Callubri Station is excited to collaborate with renowned photographer Nilmini De Silva for a day of inspiring presentations and photography insights. Nilmini De Silva is a Grand Master of the Australian Photography Society and an international award winning photographer from Sydney. She is the author of Fate or Destiny, a photo book that inspires you to live your life with passion. Nilmini shoots all genres but is especially drawn to photographing the natural world through landscapes and aerial abstracts.

Lunchtime Session: 12.30pm- 3pm
Includes coffee, tea, light lunch, presentation & discussion
Nilmini will share her journey of discovering her passion for photography during a year-long solo trip around the world and how she now leverages her art to support and advocate for causes close to her heart.
Afternoon Field Session: 3.30pm – 5.30pm
Includes a two hour photo shoot with Nilmini
Grab your camera and join Nilmini for an incredible session shooting around the Callubri Station homestead block including the original log cabins and woolshed at Golden Hour. Capture the beauty of this wild landscape and the last of the day’s light at Sunset. Please note numbers are limited for this session to keep the group small.
Evening Session: 6.30pm – 9.30pm
Includes a glass of wine, grazing dinner, presentation & discussion
A night discussing the finer art of photography. Nilmini will share her expertise across the more technical aspects of photography including the preparation of images for competition and developing a portfolio.
